Tini (Feral Medical Foster) Adopted

Tini came to our rescue on January 31, 2024, as “Martini” from Lancaster Animal Control. She is a six-month-old female with what the vets suspect is FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). If left untreated, FIP is 100% fatal. As of March 1, Tini is 30 days into a required 90 days of injections. At first her outcome was in question, but that is no longer the case, and we are encouraged by her progress.

Tini may never be able to walk or jump without some slight clumsiness, but she is otherwise healthy. Although her physical development was delayed, she has almost doubled in weight in a month. She uses a litter box without fail and is beginning to find the joy of playing with toys. With everything we have put her through with daily medical treatment, she still loves to be touched and purrs even if you just talk to her. She is a sweetheart.

Update Match 16, 2024 – Tini is adopted and will live her life in the Tampa, Florida, area. Cheryl will transport her near the end of April. Tini will have a cat-friendly dog brother!
