Lemon (Very Feral – Spayed, Released, and Supported)
Lemon came to us in early July 2021 very pregnant and equally feral. She gave birth to seven kittens in our foster room. Unfortunately, only one of the seven kittens, Quinn, survived. Lemon was in extreme physical distress after giving birth and was not lactating. While she was at the vet, we had her spayed, and since it did not look like she would adapt to life with humans, we also had her ear notched. After two months in the foster room and showing no indication that she had changed her mind about people, Lemon was released to her original capture spot and is supported. Lemon appears to be well, and we get frequent updates about her visits to the patio food dish.
