Hunter (Adopted)
On March 9, 2023, a couple who adopted two of our rescue kittens back in 2020 came across Hunter in a vacated apartment. They found what you think you would find when a cat has been abandoned for almost a month with only a cut open bag of dry food and minimal water. Beside the mess, Hunter was starving for both food and affection. The couple immediately took him to the vet for a medical examination and testing. The vet said he is 3-4 years old and is FIV/FeLV negative. We accepted Hunter as a CFF rescue on March 10 and had him neutered and vaccinated. Although Hunter was calm and got along well with other cats, he had some adjusting to do to trust humans. He loved being with us and would lay down near us, so we felt he was a lap cat in the making. Although he was still a work in progress, but he was adopted quickly and was soon living the next chapters in his happily ever after story.
