Frea (Orphan Feral – Adopted)

Frea (pronounced Fray’-yuh) came to us from a feral colony on June 18, 2022. She was severely malnourished and dehydrated. She was probably five weeks old when we got her, so we are calling her birthday May 15, 2022.
Frea could not walk or even sit upright for the first few days, but, fortunately, she could and would eat on her own because she wanted nothing to do with a bottle. She responded well to treatment, and by the end of the week she was playing and, although still wobbly, she was running through the house. She has behaved very well with the other foster kittens as well as with our adult cats. When she is awake, her enthusiasm is boundless, but then she loves lap time and purrs whether you are petting her or just talking to her. It has been a joy to watch her get healthy and confident.
